The FEDORAS Teacher Academy announces the publication of its first collection of teaching and learning materials, now accessible through the FEDORAS online repository.
This milestone corresponds to the release of Deliverable 2.1 (link to the deliverable), which presents the FEDORAS conceptual framework alongside a curated repository of resources designed to support the regeneration of science and sustainability education across Europe. The materials have been collaboratively developed by project partners and teachers through an iterative process of co-design, review, and validation, ensuring both scientific grounding and pedagogical relevance.
The repository provides a structured and evolving collection of activities for use in classrooms and within the Open Schooling Networks. The materials are developed within the FEDORAS framework, drawing on its three pillars, interdisciplinarity, futures thinking, and new languages, and engaging with the European GreenComp framework across its four competence areas: embodying sustainability values, embracing complexity in sustainability, envisioning sustainable futures, and acting for sustainability.
The collection brings together a range of activities addressing different themes and methodological approaches, including the exploration of complexity across natural and social systems, scenario development, and introductory pathways into futures studies. These resources support inquiry-based and interdisciplinary practices, enabling teachers and learners to engage with complex societal challenges while working with uncertainty, imagination, and multiple perspectives in participatory and reflective learning processes.
This publication represents an initial step in a continuous process of development. The repository will be progressively enriched with additional materials and insights emerging from the work carried out in different national contexts and Open Schooling Networks.
Teachers, teacher educators, researchers, and stakeholders are invited to explore the repository, integrate the materials into their practices, and engage with their further development.
The repository is available at this link.
