Resources
All resources shared here are developed through the FEDORAS Academy, as part of a collaborative, research-based process involving teachers, researchers, and design partners across Europe.
The project provides two types of resources:
- Teaching Resources – practical materials designed to support educational practice and innovation.
- Repository of Deliverables – the official outputs produced throughout the project for reporting, dissemination, and documentation purposes.
Teaching Resources
These materials support educators in bringing futures thinking, sustainability, interdisciplinarity, and creativity into the classroom. Developed through a process of inquiry with teachers, they include activities, modules, and facilitation guides for futures-oriented education. The WP2 materials are available through the online repository.

The Teaching Resources are organised around the three core pillars of the FEDORA project, offering educators practical materials to explore future-oriented science education from different perspectives:
- Futures Thinking – fostering imagination, futures literacy, and the ability to envision and shape possible futures.
- Interdisciplinarity – encouraging connections across disciplines to address complex societal challenges.
- New Languages – exploring innovative forms of communication, creativity, and expression for science education.

Work Package 2: Development of guidelines and resources to regenerate futures-oriented STEAM teaching
It focuses on developing guidelines and educational resources to support the regeneration of science and STEAM education through future-oriented teaching approaches. Drawing on the FEDORA vision, WP2 promotes key competences such as sustainability, futures thinking, interdisciplinarity, and inclusivity by co-designing, testing, and refining innovative teacher materials.
The main outputs of WP2 include:
- D2.1 Online repository of materials (Click here) – a structured, open-access repository for OSNs and educators
- D2.2 Final guidelines and materials for teacher education – textual, visual, and multimedia teaching materials
Work Package 3: Teacher Academy Open Schooling Networks
Work Package 3 (WP3) creates and supports Open Schooling Networks (OSNs), collaborative communities where teachers, schools, researchers, and local stakeholders co-design, test, and share innovative approaches to future-oriented STEAM education. Through teacher mobility, summer schools, and collaborative learning activities, the networks foster continuous innovation and contribute to the refinement of both teaching resources and assessment practices.
The main outputs include:
- D3.1 OSNs website profiles – describing each network, its participants, and thematic focus
- D3.2 Model for integrating pre- and in-service teacher education
- D3.3 OSN guidelines – visual and textual resources for establishing and maintaining OSNs
Other outcomes are:
- ChangeLab and Debriefing Lab blueprints for local and international collaboration
- Documentation toolkit for collecting insights and reflections within OSNs
- Community engagement strategies derived from WP3 task activities
Work Package 4: Assessment tools and practices
It develops an assessment framework and a set of tools to support the evaluation of collaborative learning, transformative change, and future-oriented competences. The framework is based on three interconnected dimensions of change—epistemic-cognitive, socio-relational, and institutional—and provides educators and researchers with resources to assess both learning processes and educational innovation.
The main outcomes include:
- D4.1 Initial Assessment Model (Click here) – preliminary guidelines for orienting assessment in OSNs
- D4.2 Preliminary sets of assessment tools and practices – co-developed and tested with teachers
- D4.3 Assessment tools – for student achievement and assessment-driven transformation
- D4.4 Final Assessment Model – research-based model with visual representation, supporting sustainability education.
Work Package 5: Communicating and disseminating FEDORAS’ Teacher Academy activities, products, and results
It ensures that the FEDORA Teacher Academy’s activities, resources, and results reach educators, researchers, policymakers, and the wider community. Through communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities, WP5 promotes the project’s outcomes, supports knowledge exchange, and maximises the long-term impact of FEDORA across educational and policy contexts.
The main outputs include:
- D5.1 Dissemination & Communication Plan outlining strategy, tools, and audience engagement
- D5.2 Visual identity and website project branding, templates, and style guidelines
- D5.3 Multimedia production of photo reports, videos, and digital storytelling from the project
- D5.4 Policy brief and
handbook.
